Part one of the report contains the analysis of numerous case studies on child rights violations carried out in six locations. The second part of the report proceeds to present a review of policy, legislation, institutions and implementation that highlights weaknesses and deficiencies prevailing in the provision of child rights. Governments and the civil society are faced with several constraints in their activities to protect children due to the lack of information and data availability on all aspects of child rights violations. The analysis provided in this report highlights the broader issues generated from the case studies and this serves as a guideline for intervention and action.
